It is with joy and gratitude to GOD that the RESTORATION Executives welcome you back on campus for the new academic session.

Quickly I will like to use this opportunity to react to some trending issues surrounding the institution. I must not fail to say that the Students Union is proud of the maturity and poise shown by you all amidst this issues. This has indeed come to prove that UNIBEN STUDENTS CAN NOT BE INTIMIDATED. I strongly urge UNIBEN STUDENTS to remain calm and happy because victory is certain (VICTORIA ASCERTA)!

I will like to reiterate the fact that "WE WILL RESIST ANY INCREMENT IF ANY".

Notice on UNIBEN Hostel accommodation 2017/2018 session

I bring you greetings from the STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT and I hope you all are ready for the new academic session.

The STUDENTS UNION GOVERNMENT would like  to plead with UNIBEN STUDENTS to be calm as regards the hostel  accommodation and the mode of application as well as school fees payment.

We are working tirelessly and urgently to make sure our students get the best treatment ever because your interest and welfare is our affair.

To this end, we are sorry for the delay and the goodnews is that hostel application will commence soon.

The office of the public relations officer will communicate to the general public the procedure and all details when available.

In conclusion, we plead with students to keep contacting the public relations officer to confirm the authenticity of any information.

IMPORTANT: UNIBEN 2017/2018 ADMISSION UPDATE

While candidates who applied  for the 2017/2018 admission Screening of the
University of Benin are patiently waiting for the admission list,  below is an update posted and signed by the UAB Chairman concerning admission.

-Don't give money for admission, It is not for sale.
-The Post Utme pass mark for consideration into the University of Benin is 50 marks.
-Any candidate who scored  below this mark in the Post Utme test will not be considered for admission.

Note: Not all candidates that scored 50 marks will be admitted. Admission is subject to the candidates meeting the Departmental Cut off Marks.

BREAKING NEWS: 2016/2017 SESSION PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING EXERCISE

The University of Benin hereby invites all candidates who applied for admission into the University as first choice in the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) to

visit the University of Benin Website: https://uniben.waeup.org/applicants for details of the procedure for the Pre-Admission Screening Exercise. Download the PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING BENCH MARKS 

Registration for Pre-Admission Screening will commence on Friday 2ndSeptember 2016 and will close at 12.00 midnight on Sunday 11thSeptember 2016.

Uniben cancels her 2016/2017 Screening Exercise

The University of Benin wishes to announce to the general public that the 2016/2017 Screening Exercise which 
was earlier Suspended  has been officially canceled.
This is in line with the directive from the Federal government of Nigeria.

hereby notifies the entire University of Benin Community that the 2016/2017
ongoing admission screening exercise has been suspended with immediate
effect in compliance with the Federal Government’s directive.

In the light of the above, an update will be sent at a later date.
All inconveniences are highly regretted.

UNIBEN Admission Screening Excercise 2016/2017 session - See details

 

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) ADMISSION Screening Exercise for 2016/2017 Academic Session will take
place between 27th June, 2016 and 9th, July 2016 in designated centres within Ugbowo Campus of the University.  The Screening Exercise shall be Computer Based. All candidates are expected to be seated, latest one hour before the stipulated time for the screening exercise.
PLEASE NOTE:  Only candidates who applied through JAMB for UTME Admission and chose University of Benin as First Choice and scored 200 and above are eligible for this Screening Exercise.

This post is to inform the students of the University of Benin, the General public and aspiring students of Uniben, that the Uniben Post Ume for 2016/2017
session is NOT YET OUT.

The rumor started yesterday were a lot of students copied and paste the message around their various social media platforms. Messages has been coming to Uniben Gist since yesterday about the form. It is a rumor. It is not on the official website of the University of Benin www.uniben.edu.

When it is officially out, be rest assured that we will inform you all as well as the guidelines to follow. Uniben Gist have done it before and we delivered, we will still do it again. Not withstanding the rumor, we urge all who will participate for the exam to get ready/prepared for the task ahead.
